Asleep exhibit A

I've heard that U.S. military sharpshooters shot and killed three Somali pirates yesterday and that Americans across the country are waving the flag and feeling all proud. One of those killed was 16 years old--all faced squalor, desperation and no prospects. They had not hurt anyone, had offered to release their single hostage and were bobbing in a lifeboat. This is about the protection of U.S. economic interests abroad and sending a message to the Third World. As a side note, the U.S.A. currently has 1000 military bases worldwide, and is fighting two wars in which we invaded sovereign nations and have remained as occupiers for the last 7 years.
